WHAT IS THE ECO SCHEME?

The ECO scheme, also known as the Energy Company Obligation, is the latest version of the program designed to improve energy efficiency in British homes. The scheme is administered by Ofgem and funded by major UK energy suppliers. The goal of the scheme is to provide funding for energy efficiency improvements to homes that currently have a low energy efficiency rating.

The ECO scheme can help you make a range of improvements to your home, including new gas boilers, wall insulation (internal and external), loft & pitched roof insulation, solar PV, heating controls and more.

I went three days without heating or hot water due to my boiler breaking down.On the fourth day, my wife and I decided to have a new boiler put because we were tired of our insurance company misplacing us.I rang Alom and describe the scenario. The very next day, an engineer went to the site of the new boiler to inspect it. I approved of the quote, and a few hours later, two other engineers showed up and installed my boiler.
